Toddlers adjust quickly due to our
Little Learners wants your child to be as familiar with our school as they are with home. We designed our toddler child care program specifically for the toddler age group. This education prepares them for the kindergarten readiness curriculum that they receive in our preschool program.
To build that trust and familiarity of home our toddlers stay in one classroom for the toddler child care program. This includes lunch and nap.
This immersion allows the toddlers of Romeo and Metamora to become familiar with their surroundings. It makes the drop off easier for parents because the children have adjusted to their surroundings much quicker.
Toddlers learn in a warm and nurturing environment
In order to create this environment our child care teacher plans a daily child care schedule with four things in mind:
- Developmental stages, need and abilities of all young children,
- Needs of the age group they serve and their abilities
- Needs of the specific, individual children in their care
- The personal experiences and history each child brings to the learning experience.
Toddlers are more mobile and have a greater need to explore, and gain independence, than when in the infant child care program. Our child care teachers support these needs by providing lots of opportunities for exploration and self-sufficiency inside a safe environment.
“It’s so nice to have a place to take my daughter where she can run, play, learn, and interact with other kids, and it’s great for me to have people I absolutely trust to care for my daughter. I absolutely recommend Little Learners to anyone who wants quality child care!”
