We are so excited to be coming to the city of Washington! We have been in Romeo for almost 9 years now and are ready to provide for even more families now as we get ready for this next adventure with our brand-new Washington Center. We love the area and didn’t want to leave but we were growing and needed more space so we have found that in the Vanessa Center right here in Washington. We are looking forward to keeping you posted on all the exciting changes that will be happening to the building as we put together the center piece by piece, we will share all of the progress with you along this journey.
Romeo was the second location added to the Little Learners family and we were welcomed into the community quite quickly by participating in many RWB Recreation events, Peach fest booths and parade winners for several years of helping out the DDA in Harvest Fest events and Snow me the Love. We really enjoyed growing up in the center of Romeo.
This location is perfect for those that travel the Van Dyke Expressway or stick to old Van Dyke rd. Located just south of 30-mile road it is easy on and off the expressway and also still close to downtown Romeo. Our new center will have a private expansive playground along with an indoor area too for those rainy days when we cannot get outside. The stylish new center will be bright, clean, spacious and yet still maintain the home away from home feel that we stride for in every one of our centers.
We look forward to sharing our center with you and touring just as soon as we can! Please check out our Facebook page, follow us on google and check back on the website for details as we share along the way.
Mrs.Crissy is Romeo's Center Director, She and her son Quigly joined our Little Learners family in February of 2020. Mrs.Crissy comes with a wealth of knowledge as her background is in Elementary Education. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University and has taught all age groups and in several different states including Kentucky, New Hampshire and Vermont.
Mrs.Crissy has a love for the teachers, families and children at her center and you can tell that the minute you walk through the door and she is right there to greet you with her enthusiastic welcome and it will make you feel at home right away. Mrs.Crissy knows that our Romeo Center is a larger more modernized center, but makes sure to keep that "home away from home" feel with a structured learning environment as the main focus. Her passion and love for daycare shows in the way that she has brought her family values to the center. They have merged so well with Little Learners CORE VALUES.
Mrs.Crissy easily blended the old town feel of Romeo with her personal life. Living in a 153 year old farm house, her passion for gardening and taking care of her 13 chickens, 5 cats and 1 dog works so well with our very old barn style building that Romeo residents remember as the Bargin Barn.
Her spunky personality will draw you right in and you will surely enroll with her before you even get off the phone, because you will trust and know that what she says is what she will do. We know your family will be happy with Mrs.Crissy and her staff. We guarantee it!
